Issues with playing trailers from Showtimes (1 Viewer)

Last night (15 nov 2010) I patched StreamedMP to the latest rev (1.4.3.2245) and My Trailers and Showtimes no longer play trailers in their respective windows. (Showtimes pops up an error message that the trailer could not be played, My Trailers doesn't.) However, I found that the video is now playing in My TV! No other system changes were made other than the Streamed patch, so any thoughts?

I'm running MP1.1.1 and StreamedMP with the latest updates.

I've gone through the logs but am not sure what to look for (other than obvious "errors"). I would post logs, but which should I attach?

Anyone else experience this oddity with trailers being played in the My TV screen now?

    Re: Post-patch Trailers troubles

I havent see such a thing happen before, the skin has no control over which window the video gets played from. I played some trailers last night fine...how are you determining the window in which the video is played?

When you want to attach logs, just attach them all as a zip file.

    Re: Post-patch Trailers troubles

    damien,

thanks for the response. because you're right that the streamedmp upgrade shouldn't have affected what happened, i played around with the MP configuration but could not get anywhere. i then tried installing the medialooks quicktime filter, qt alternative, and media player classic. frustration. i still have to exit back to MyTV to see a trailer, instead of just having the video play in the showtimes window.

although my issue probably belongs in either the MP1 installation&configuration or the showtimes forums, i'll just follow-up here with my logs and a quick little clip of what's happenning.

    thanks again!
