I can't give you the specs on the box, other than it's a dual core and it's the latest MediaPortal as of 2 months ago, the machine is about that old too. I use an MCE remote and just to see what it did (curiosity and cat springs to mind here), I pressed the PC power button on the remote last night. The PC went into some sort of hibernation and now refuses to restart! Has anyone seen this before?

I thought I'd ask before I stick a monitor, mouse and keyboard on it. It normally displays through a HD projector. I normally shut it down by powering off (gracefully). Now the machine starts, but nothing comes out of the video card, not even BIOS messages, or POST beeps. This is worrying, any suggestions?

If there is no video, chances are the graphics have failed to restart for your projector, does left\right arrow keys on remote restart things.

Nope, not a thing. The HD is silent, but the case illumination is on. Bugga, spose that means time to connect a monitor to it. I have seen it before where DVI connectors stop working and you have to plug a VGA back in and set them up again. Weird that MediaPortal would do that though. Cound be a coincidence, I spose...
