Last week my divx codec updated itself (stupid! i forgot to turn that option off
) and installed the notorious Norton sh*t. Offcourse i uninstalled it immediately. Perhaps there is something left behind .Further i dont use any antivirus etc apps. I hate them
According to some specialists here at MP there should be no performance difference between MySQL and MS SQL

Tried ms sql and it took approx. 35 sec for SQL service to start. My SQL takes more than 90 sec to start.
Both only after restart. After resume SQL start in 6 sec.
I have resinstalled everything but nothing works.
In the eventlogs it states that the sql service crashed during startup and therefore could not start. But... it does start eventually. The tvservice starts also after that 90 sec.
is there someone who knows insanely much about MySQL and could help me.
If this problem is solved the only thing i have to solve is the standby issue. That works until 1.1.0 rc's. When resuming from standby in the morning MP chrashes.
