ITV HD in tv server (2 Viewers)

I think DJblu was talking about his tswriter that finds the background audio EPG for full freesat guide.

I don't think he has a fix for ITV HD? maybe I am wrong.

That triggered off a bit of discussion.

Okay I tried a record oof ITV HD and then looked at the .ts in a program called TSRemux which is only showing an audio stream. I'm still not seeing the placeholder at the moment. So, I can't see a placeholder whether I watch live or if I'm trying to playback a recording of the channel all I get is a black screen.

Can anybody tell me whether they can see the ITV HD placeholder and if so what version of MediaPortal you are using.

I'm using RC3 with the latest SVN and I can see the placeholder fine. I was surprised it worked. Haven't tried recording yet. I'm using a firedtv to tune in.

Are you using the hacked TsWriter or the orignal that comes with RC3 and latest SVN?

strange? you are using svn 20514 and you can see the place holder? I just get no audio video. even if I put the VID and AID I get the no audio/video error.

EDIT:

I've gone back to RC1 + SVN that is in my system spec to the side.

The difference when I try to preview is that a preview window comes up and it seems the ac3 audio stream is connecting but no video detecting, so there is a grey window with no sound (as nothing is currently playing).

Could somebody upload their Tswriter and/or Tsreader that allows them to view ITV HD? Even though these were working fine it seems to have gone tits up now. I even redownloaded the Tswriter filter that is uploaded by DJBlu earlier in this thread (from June) but I get the same problem, no video.

EDIT Part 2:

Just installed DVB Viewer and got ITV HD working straight away (showing placeholder). I'm flummoxed as to how my working MediaPortal has suddenly broken :-s

I also had ITV HD working and now it isn't and I'm very confused. I am using RC2 with the old TSreader. Could they have changed something in the broadcast stream?

After some testing, I can view live TV no probs but can't play back recordings from within MP.
