Hi Guys,

I have now managed to get all my series imported thanks to previous help.

One thing I am stuck on is joined episodes..... I don't have too many of them so they don't nessecarily need to be automatically parsed I'm just wondering How I should manually enter in the Episode ID in the manual correction area (Step 1). Surely there is a way to place both episode IDs and both titles in so that the single video file can be linked to the two episodes?

Any help would be appreciated as I'm excited to get my library fully imported.

Thanks

This is where that real regular expression would have done it for you, versus the <simple> one that has no support for it.

But have you tried selecting 5x01 and then holding down CTRL key and selecting 5x02? That's the universal way of doing a multi-select, just not sure MP-TVSeries support it like that (never had to find out myself).

you can only do double episodes when you use regular expressions, sorry! You will only be able to match it to one (first would be the most logical).

Tried that one already doesn't work.

I'm starting to think the easier way is to just to have 2 copies of the episode, one for each. I like having my files neatly named as I access them over the network on other computers.

Cheers for the help I did try the regular expression that supported all different naming structures but still no luck.

Another solution is to instead of creating a regular expression that will support your filenames, is to rename your collection to match one of the existing ones. The primary expression works on "Show Name - Season+Episode - Title.extension" and is compatible with dual-episode mediafiles.

There are many tools available for this, such as TheRenamer
