Turns out it was the new WD "Green" 1TB drive...
For whatever reason if that is my boot drive MP has judder... I reverted back to a WD 250GB boot drive and use the 1TB drive for all of my movies and media... I still play all my videos from the 1TBdrive, but I boot to a different one...
Must be that MP doesn't like a slow boot drive.
Anyhow, I'm happy as can be and enjoying MP 1.0 a LOT!
