Karaoke-dx not working with RC3 (1 Viewer)

Just a thought but I installed and uninstalled the powerkaraoke demo version prior to 1.1, wmp then asked if I wanted to add the extension....maybe the .cdg files are not recognised until you do that and it is possible to use the latest version, no time to test that theory for the next few days though.

Tonight I tried installing karaoke-dx version 0.1 through 1.1 but none of them seemed to work for me. That is until I unchecked the setting "Use VMR 9 exclusive mode" i Media Portal. After that it worked fine! I then tried out 3.0 beta 3 but it didn't work (just as 404 stated earlier in this thread). Then I installed version 2.3 and it seems to work fine. So I'm sticking to that version as it's the latest version that works for me.

The setting in Media Portal can be found here: Media Portal Setup > DirectShow Filter Control > Video Mixing Renderer 9 Settings > Use VMR 9 exclusive mode and it should be turned off!

A big thank you to 404 for pointing me in the right direction.

This is probably something Wonderm00n should try also.

I was testing in windowed mode (which works) so I would have ran into problems as soon as I ran 'for real' in full screen. looks like it's sorted now, just the hassle of a re-install to look forward to....hope it's as stable as 0.2.2.0

It's also not working in MP 1.0.0.0 RC1 with latest SVN...

CORRECTION: It does work if you use Karaoke-DX 2.3, even using "VMR 9 Exclusive Mode".
I had 3.0 beta installed.
