Keyboard shortcuts not working during video playback (1 Viewer)

[jaw0012]

I've got a really basic setup in my workout room. Just the computer hooked up to a TV.

My problem is that when I am playing video, none of the keyboard shortcuts work. (Pause would be very helpful).

If I right click, go to previous screen, then click the Maximize/Minimize button at the top of the screen, the video then returns to fill the whole screen then and only then do the shortcuts work.

Thanks for any and all help you guys can provide.

in MP configuration /general section, there is an option for "MedaiPortal always on top". is this ticked/checked. MP will need to be in focus for the key strokes to work and selecting this option will ensure it has focus all the time unless minimised

That worked perfectly.

Obvious when you think about it.

Thanks!
