That’s good news hear, because that is the precise feel I’m trying to get from the skin. But there maybe some people unhappy as I’ve removed a lot of info and a few buttons. As I do not use these things and they were just cluttering thing up

The currentplayytime is very large and that's quite good.
But I think the start and stop time of the video and even the description are too small to be read on TV.
Please think about that while finishing the skin and the gfx.
Right now the start and stop time wouldn't fit into your gfx if the fonts would be made a bit bigger.

Even the grey fonts on this transparent osd background would be hard to read i guess on tv and the white text can't be recognized at all on this screen.
Did you try on tv?

I know on Monitor skins look always very nice, but especially on a crt you would get into trouble.

But I'm looking forward for the first beta.

Can i just say that this skin is so close to the images of the perfect skin that i have sitting in my head.

I could not agree with Forgotten more about his choice of interface, simplicity and visual feedback.

The added bonus is that he's an aussie too, so i can be sure this will look and feel right for all the Australian channels, and i have to fill a 42" plasma so the fact that it's being developed in 16:9 is a godsend.

I applaud you Forgotten Illustrator, and more then eagerly await the first release of this skin. I wish there was an easier way to get updates on it's progress then having to check the forums.

You need to remember too that these screenshots have been downsized from 1280 X 720 to 768 x 432 (NTSC widescreen is 720 x 480). The description is at font 16 and it’s more then easy to read

And yes I’ve been trying it on my Plasma as I go along, but I don’t have any of my computers hocked up to a TV so I can't say how it looks on CRT.

BINGO! That’s it, so on this side it sounds like good news.

P.S I’ve got big TV logos 200 X 150 and that is how I have used them. So you may have to make some big channel logos if you don’t have them yet.

Perhaps the Start/Stop times and Dates could use a little more contrast? Same for the Channel Name.
