audioscrobbler is running and i can update stations, artist etc. But it looks like last.fm plugin died on me, when i upgraded to rc4 :(

    here's some loginfo

my crystal ball says that you are using an incompatible skin as the plugin is working quite well.

the skin is my own, yes, but it was running just fine in rc3 + svn's?

I still do not see any log file

shouldn't you guys be using :mad::mad: a little more ;)

Anyway, I tried it myself on B3wide and it 'sort of' works fine. The first time I tried, the last.fm tray app showed a balloon with a stream error. When I tried again, everything was fine. I cannot reproduce it anymore. Anyway, since your error has something to do with directX and your logs are covered with d3d re-entrant messages, please try to disable the last.fm tray balloon tips that are causing this. You can find it in MP config -> Plugins -> Last.fm Radio -> Display balloon (or 'ballon', typo I guess) tips.

Speaking of typo's, there's a small typo in the context menu for the Dutch translation. See the screenshot (3rd item). It says, 'Stem af met gekozen taggoldfrapp', but it misses a semicolon: 'Steam af met gekozen tag: goldfrapp'. If you want to translate it nicely, it should be 'Stem af op tag: goldfrapp'. It's not important of course, but it's there since the first version or so..and you can probably fix this in an instant :)

This morning (at work) I tested again and now it seems to work fine in whatever skin I use. Will test back at home where the problem was still there last night. Anyway, couldn't imagine it was a problem with my own skin, since no changes was made to that skin-file recently. The oly thing that changed was moving for RC4.

I've updated to RC4 too last weekend and found that if I copied over all data from the RC3 backup, it would show weird skin errors (like: 'missing or invalid myHome.xml') without a logical reason (at least, to me :)). Maybe you've done something like that as well? I had to reinstall RC4 to fix this, but fortunately the problems didn't depend on mediaportal.xml and all its settings.

    Hi RTV, great plugin

I've configured 2 last.fm avccounts one for me and one for my wife.

This is so that it will learn what she alikes or what i like when we are in charge of the computer and playing our music, is ther a way to change user from within the MP GUI, i see that i can change within the configuration screen of MP but this is not practical for everyday use.

I guess i'm after a button on the last.fm gui within MP to switch user, is this possible?

    Thanks

Yeah - you can switch users. Unfortunately you can do that only in the MusicPlaylist screen currently. Seems like I missed to add that option to the context menu. Should be a safe change to include it there ;)

Thanks for...nothing. I attached the log-file...and THE ISSUE IS THERE IN BLUE 3 WIDE!

    1. Nice touch
    2. Asking three times you added a useless snippet of that rubbish which was already visible on that same useless screenshot. If I ask for logs I want to see failing control inits, HTTP errors or similar stuff because I suspect an issue.
    3. The issue is not in Blue3 wide if you don't touch any related skin file.
    4. The only mandatory addition (which is listed in the skinner's forum section as well) is the added artist button. If this is present you've more severe skin errors like missing combined controls, faulty OSK, or something like that.
    5. If the skin is correct then your D3D errors indicate a severe issue outside of the plugin's scope for sure.
    6. If you want help you're the one who's "asking" - if someone wants to help you and demands further details then be cooperative even if you don't understand what is going on.
