does the task stay for ever or does it disappear after a while? There are some reasons why the MP task has to stay for some seconds after giving the end signal to it:

- reading in a new EPG
- starting the irremote

I just have to add to this.

Just applied SVN from 22-6-06 and my TV is now working like a charm.

-Channel changes have dropped to 2-3sec from 6+sec.
-Havn't had a no signal yet
-Can now lock in to ABC Melbourne where I used to get no signal
-My Dual DVB-T cards work now where previously only one at a time would work.

Big props to the Devs and onwards to version 0.2 Final

I would like to add my congratulations for the last set of changes that have gone into myTv [over about the last week]. The stability and performance has improved dramatically. dmans last changes for DVB-S means autotune works again for me. Keep up the good work guys. There is alot of very appreciative people out here

Yep have not had a problem with the TV viewing sice about a week since i installed the mediaportal-svn-06-18-2006--20-04 SVN. I think ill install a new one every two weeks or so even if not needed

Just to make sure the current update is working ok.If so i have one to fall backon if the new one craps out on me.
