not sure if it is still needed, but i realized the stardate plugin is no more compatible to 1.4. Attached an updated version

I am getting an error message and MP freezes using Windows 8 (I had no issues with previous versions):

@huha: Maybe a font issue. Could you pls try to register the LCARS fonts manually (go to LCARS Fonts directory and doubleclick the fonts to install them) ?
It´s a well known problem that the installer sometimes does not install/register fonts properly

I did manually install the font, but it looks like i missed to reboot. Today it worked without having changed anything, so i suspect i should have rebooted after installing the font. Thanks for your response.
