Hallo, guys,
sorry for my english.
(Vista64 Home Premium, PM 0.2.3)
I have a new Leadtek WinFast DTV1000 S PCI DVB-T tuner.
It works properly, but only in PVR2(software from Leadtek) and MCE.
But I very like MediaPortal, and for MediaPortal is my DTVC1000S invisible... I cant add my TV card in MediaPortal configuration...
Please, is any way, how i can use DTV1000S in MediaPortal?
I find any reason for DTV2000, but I dont know, if is it the same, or similar action for DTV1000S, likewise it was for WinXP, not for Vista64...
Thanks you very much, and of course, thanks for MediaPortal!

    Hi and welcome to the forum :)

    You should try using TVE3, as it supports all DVB-D/T/S-cards with BDA drivers. A bit more complex to install, but there are god manuals.

    Sorry, I start understand it, then TV3 is plugin/service for MediaPortal...
    Not other soft...

    Sorry again...
    I have next question. In documentation is:
    TV-Engine 0.3
    single inst. ..... on one HTPC:
    * Windows XP or 2000 (not tested with Windows 2000!!!)
    * Microsoft SQL Server Express or MySQL 5
    * MediaPortal TV-Server
    * MediaPortal + latest svn build
    * MediaPortal Client Plugin
    * TV-Cards
    * Direct X 9 Compatible Graphics Card

    My questions:
    Will be it OK on Vista64?
    What is "MediaPortal Client Plugin"? Is it "tvengine3-04-03-2008--05-07h--Rev18530.zip"?
    Thanks a lot.

    Hello,
    yesterday I install all need aplication. Any problems with version SQL and necessary service packs for it (Vista64). But i am finished with instalation and configuring and I have only one problem with setup remote on Microsoft SQL (only TCP/IP is working, TCP/IP and pipes option makes error). But MediaPortal Server Configuration finds my Tuner (LeadTek 1000S), all programs are visible. But. When I run normal MediaPortal, I cant see "new" window with options about streaming. I see the same, as before instalation MPServer (and all aplication, what is in manual). Today I try uninstall MediaPortal and instal all again, with clean system without previous instalation of MediaPortal.
    Thanks and have a nice day!

    Hello, canarygsr,
    thanks for answer.
    After big adventure with installation of tvserver (partially OK) i am now sick and tired about DTV1000S on MediaPortal... Now I am waiting for new version of MediaPortal for my computer.
    For my waif´s computer MP 0.2.3 will be OK, because it is without TV tuner.
    Thanks!
