Not sure the title expresses what I mean, but let's try to better explain:

I'm using 1.2 alpha with the latest streamedMP release, and the latest myTVseries plugin.
Using the basic home editor, I created menu entries going straight to given tvseries categories, basically:

- Kids series
- Anime Series
- TV shows

When in the basic home menu, the backdrops (and the overlays) are not restricted to the series matching the filter the menu is pointing to.

So, for example, highlighting the kids series might display a Bones backdrop (Which should only display if I'm highlighting the TV Shows menu), and the overlay might mention that my last seen episodes are some "Ghost in the shell" episodes.

Is there any chance to restrict the overlays and backdrops to display info only about the series listed in the corresponding filter of the menu entry?

I don't know if this is clear enough, I'll be pleased to explain better if needed.

Oh, btw, since I understood that moving pictures is going to be customizable in the same way soon (direct menu access to category/filter), chances are that this will need to be adapted the same way, if possible...

Thanks a lot to the developpers for this great skin - it is just absolutely perfect!! :D

Hi Felix, this is currently not possible to restrict backdrops/most recents by selected item. It's an interesting suggestion though and we may look at added that functionality in a later release.

I think it is possible with at least X-Factor and the multiimage configuration per menu entry. It is possible to edit the source of fanart folder for each menu item individually. It would mean that you have to copy the corresponding backdrops manually, that is a disadvantage.
