Hi All

I have been having same issues for some time now and anything i do dont appear to fix it..

Im sorry if i have place this in wrong section.

Anyway for a while now i have had the issue that live tv just dies and goes back to tv main page or it will be the
Channel list page but all broken.. From there i can t get out except to kill the process. I also notice that the tv server need to be restarted all the time...

Im my videos when i play avi/divx/xvid i allways get continual glitching as if it is dropping frames or even sometimes
it appears if it repeats a few frames.

It has got to a point where the family are just peeved and dont use it because it dies at the worst times etc..

I do have all latest updates and i have tried ffdshow and other xvid codecs but cant seam to get rid of the video glitches..

For live tv i have installed drivers many times and have done fresh installs a few times but it dont get better..

I do however note that the one thing that is a issue and allways has been is the winDVR this is allways a pain and
analogue never works. Using this has allways caused a blue screen of death and cannot find out why..

It would be good if there was a alternative to this windvr.

I think what you guys are developing is really brillent and when more things get ironed out and or added it will be the best ever.

I would really appreciate if anyone has and suggestions to fix this so i can really use this great software..

Your logs show a lot of 'Continuity error' which would indicate poor signal and it looks like this is causing the tvserver crash.

Try improving signal and also try dissabling the analog side of the hybrid tuners in setuptv.

As for the file playback problem, use 'shift+1' ie (!) to bring up renderer data and see what FPS and dropped frames are . What is your cpu usage like?

    Try different codecs.
