Live TV freezes constantly (1 Viewer)

Hello

I have a very annoying problem. My Live TV freezes constantly. Sometimes after a few seconds or after a few minutes. All other functions of Mediaportal still I can use. From TV OFF to TV ON - does not succeed, also to restart the TV service. I have also tried to repair the database. Only after a restart or standby state Live TV is working again. I will test the second Tuner today. I hope you can help me, can not do without Media Portal and I will not.

Hi pingumania

Your Mystique tuner is a Digital Devices clone. Digital Devices tuners have problems with the new "pause mode", so I wouldn't be surprised if that is the problem for your tuner too. To turn off pause mode, edit the card properties (as shown in screenshot 2) and change the "when card enters idle state..." value from "pause card" to "stop card".

I know that, im using the digital devices drivers (The problem occurs with the Mystique drivers too). In my opinion I tried "stop card" without success. But ill test it later when i get home from work ;-)

I too found it difficult to spot a freeze point but I saw a run graph failure earlier in the TV log which is why I first mentioned the "pause mode" - it could be the cause of TV off -> on not working.

Regarding the freeze: at the end of the TsReader log there is this:

I'm not the best with MP problems, but could that indicate a skin issue? Which option did you use to get the logs - option one would have disabled the Mustayaluca skin but option 3 wouldn't have...

yeah i created the logs with option 3, as i said ill create new logs without any plugins/skins.

edit: even without the skin live-tv freezes. i also tried different versions of mediaportal 1.2.0 beta and 1.1.3.

maybe i found the solution for this problem, i changed the PCIe slot + the tuner and rescanned the channels. no freezes so far ;D
