No security software is blocking or slowing things down either.
I ran another test, using the Manual Control in the TV Server Configuration. When I start timeshift, after received approx. 70000 packets (signal level 70, signal quality 98), the signal level and quality drop to 0....and then pick up again and timeshift is continuing to receive packets. Then signal level & quality drop again to 0.....and finally pick up again.
Obviously this behavior occurs without the MP Client as well. Attached are the log files that were created while using Timeshift in the TV Server Configuration.
Thanks for taking the time in helping me investigate this problem!!!!
can you deactivate it temporarily and test again?
we have had some cases where AV software was slowing down things dramatically though proper exclusions were configured...
Ok, I'll deactivate the anti virus. I did notice that when I changed the timeshift folder initially, I forgot to apply the folder setting to all cards. Now that I've changed that, it seems to run stable (fingers crossed )
Will do some more testing and keep you updated.
Thanks for all the support I got so far! You guys have been a great help.....much appreciated
Seems I was to premature to say it runs stable
Yesterday afternoon, I had live tv running for several hrs without freezing. This morning I let live tv run again and freezing is back.
Signal level is around 70 and signal quality 98
I have 2 sets of log files.
1) Clean set of log files just running timeshift with manual control inside the TV server configuration (showing about 38 discontinues)
2) Debug log files running MP Client
