    Here is one more set of logs. Directly after the freeze occurred, I quit MePo and generated the logs (I removed old files).

    Um 17:37 ist im TsReader - log wieder die Meldung
    Code (Text):
    1. 23-11-2013 17:37:13.508 [159263e8] [1384] CTsReaderFilter::Duration - correction to predicted duration: 751116.000
    Seems to be the same problem...? Or does anybody have new ideas?

    Yes, it looks like data has just stopped being written to the timeshift buffer file(s). If you want to check this for sure, next time it happens before you stop TV look at the modification times of the timeshift files (in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\timeshiftbuffer\) and check if they are still being updated.

    (When you stop TV the files are deleted - that's why you need to look at them before hitting 'stop'....)

    Thanks for the fast answer!

    OK, I will do so. One reason for stop writing to the timeshift buffer is that the signal is of bad quality, correct?

    In my experience, yes.
    Some tuners give up streaming until another tune request is received if they encounter really bad quality signal.
    Other tuners will always try to keep streaming even though the signal quality is bad.
    Finally, some tuners have a switch in the driver install file (the ini) to control the behaviour.

    I will check for amplifiers and also take a look at the driver, I will post any updates here.

    Once again, thanks a lot!
