Live TV Stops Playing Randomly (1 Viewer)

I just installed (first time) MediaPortal 1.4 this weekend on a server machine and my main desktop. For some reason (seems like something to do with the audio device after looking at the logs) TV video playback will stop randomly and return to the TV Guide screen after maybe 5 to 10 minutes of watching.

This seems to be a client specific issue as I've also got aMPdroid working on my Note 2 and was able to watch a VLC Direct stream with no issues for 15-20 minutes.

I've attached the debug logs and I believe the issue started around the 01:19 time entry.

[2013-09-29 01:19:20,513] [Log ] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - Main: Audio Renderer High Definition Audio Device removed

This appears to be the last hurdle to getting MP working nicely with my setup, so any help is appreciated!
Thanks!

    Hello and welcome Ziflin :)

I think you've correctly identified the issue. (y)
Do you run HDMI to your TV/receiver... or is there an audio device (maybe bluetooth or USB) that could be disconnecting and reconnecting?
If so, that is likely to be the cause of the messages.
The reason why MP stops playback is that we can't safely continue without an audio playback/renderer device. So, MP stops playback when it detects removal of an audio renderer as a safety precaution. If you know that the device which is disconnecting and reconnecting is never going to be used by MP then you can bypass the safety mechanism by disabling the "stop playback on removal of an audio renderer" option in MP configuration, as shown here:

    Hope that helps! :)

Hi and thanks for the quick reply!

Currently I'm just watching TV on my desktop computer and monitor in a window. I don't know of any other audio devices that would be disconnecting though. I did update my nVidia drivers after this just to see, and I haven't had any issues so far today. I also thought that before I sent the first post I had disabled the "stop playback on removal of an audio renderer", but apparently I hadn't. So I'll try that as well and see what happens.

    Thanks again!
