Problem with wrong resolution in client

However, since as stated by gamackey1337 it seem to be a bug, so I thought of making a bug report of it. Here is his original reply:

Cause: TV Server + MPV codec
Workaround: Use DScaler, NVidia, or other codec

I found a workaround for the problem. Just use any other video codec other than MPV and it should be fine. I tried with DScaler and NVidea PureVideo and decided to use DScaler. This is definitely a bug, though, as I was using MPV to decode my TV before I went to the TV server and it worked just fine.

I was able to confirm this. By changing to another codec in the client, the aspect ratio was the correct 4:3. Unfortunatly on my HTPC all other codecs don't seem to work as well as the MPV (jerky video and/or sound), so I would really appriciate if this could be fixed.

The problem seems to exist only in the client that is in the same computer as the TV Server. Client from other computers seem to work well.

(Then again, my TV Server/Client HTPC is the only machine I have where I'm using a 16:9 screen (BlueTwo Wide). The other two computers I tested have 4:3 screen (Blue Two). When I get back home, I should probably test if changing the aspect ration on my HTPC would somehow afffect the problem I'm having with watching TV with the client on the same computer where the server is with MPV codec.)

BTW, in my case too the MPV codec worked just fine (correct aspect ratio) before moving to TV Server.

I tryed to change the aspect ratio of my HTPC from 1280 x 720 to 1024 x 768 (I also changed the skin to BlueTwo) just for testing if this would fix the problem, but there was no change. The picture was still wide.
