    Hello everyone,

this time I need your help. I had been on a multi seat setup before (Windows 7, Client + Server) and Windows 8 as second client. Now I switched to a dedicated Windows Server 2012 Essentials. Pretty simple setup of all software. LiveTV out of the box....but shuttering on clients (Windows 7 and 8), no its no DXVA issue, same software setup worked flawlessly before.

It must be related to Windows Server 2012 Essentials. Already set a higher priority, time shift is on ram disk. The shutter occurs every 3-6 seconds, it doesn't matter whether SD or HD.

    Please see the clients log.

    Thank you!

    Hello 4irm

Lots of discontinuities and PES failures. This indicates that decrypting on the server side is possibly not working so well. Please provide full client and server logs if you want more help.

ok, i have done some more investigation....bought a DVB-T Card - which works flawlessly. The issue here seems to be my Technotrend DVB-C C-1500. Windows 7 & 8 without any issues...Windows Server 2012 Essentials shuttering.

    Problem is definitely server-side.
Based on the continuity errors in the TsWriter log file the problem is likely to be:
    1. Signal quality
    2. HDD stress
    3. Overheating hardware
I see you're using M**** ... and that can sometimes cause the problem too.

    Thank you.

As said, I tested a second tv card (DVB-T) without any issus. I deactivated the "M-thing" (that I legally use).
The computer is open not overheating hardware, timeshifting is on ramdisk.
It is either Windows Server 2012 Essentials or the mainboard (H61) that causes the trouble with the DVB-C card (technotrend C-1500).
It might have something to do with PCI (no express) since the DVB-T card uses USB and not PCI.
