Hi,

I'm not a developer, I've created a new repo on Google code (https://code.google.com/p/mediaportal-france-rtv-logos/ ), but I don't how to add files in the repo, can you help ?

Anyway, there could be a problem in generating the best logos as source image are not the same when background is dark or background is light. As an example:

This png is use to generate logos on white backgroup (simple, minimal designs):

This one is used to generate logos on dark bakgrounds (dark glass, blue metal)

Glossy logos have been created with individual colors and cannot be automated (if we want to keep the colors).

Anyway, there could be a problem in generating the best logos as source image are not the same when background is dark or background is light.

For this purpose I'm using the Photoshop glow design created by CHli in the Swedish logo pack.

Hi @FillR. I'll try.
First, you should ensure that you chose svn as version control system in googlecode project settings. It's in Administer-Source.
Second, download and install TortoiseSvn. All features will be available in folder/file context menu.
Third, choose in context menu "SVN Checkout" and enter your repo url in online source like https://mediaportal-france-rtv-logos.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/
Fourth, add your your logos in folder where you just did checkout and choose Svn commit in folder context menu. It shoud request your login credentals. Take them from you googlecode page source tab.

I think it is possible if you remove grey from first logo, make this area transparent and apply dark design.
Making custom design of evry logo depending of its colour is very hard work
UPD. Maybe we could consider adding option "Without Design" for your needs and for vuego who can't live without glow effect. Need t discuss it.

It's good to see this coming along, I was about to add logos for New Zealand, but I came across a few problems...

1. Need better instructions / simpler method of adding a logo pack to the central repository, currently it is too complicated.

2. Need better instructions / simpler method of adding additional background to the central repository, currently it is too complicated.

3. Is there a background option for no background, ie merge with a fully transparent background?

4. I see the logo has to be 200x200, what happens if we have higher quality images, say 400x400 what happens to the image?

@kiwijunlist, I'll answer one by one
1. TortoiseSVN+googlecode is very simple once you tried it. But honestly every site which can provide direct links for downloading separate image files will suit well.
2. There is no need to add background to central repository, plugin is using local one from \Thumbs\LogoManager\designs. And it will use every new one you'll drop in this foder.
3. Yes, it calls Simple. You could see it in design preview in DefaultWide. Titan has no previews due to GUIDialogMenu.xml image properties missing.
4. No idea. Just try. Smaller files dont crash plugin, they just makes file with smaller logo in center.
And bonus question from me on which I'll answer myself
