Hello,

at the moment I try the mediaportal with the new tvServer3 as an alternative to Vista MCE.
It looks very good except on big problem:
It takes a long long time to switch between channels (depending on the channel between 6 and 15 seconds).
As you can read, I am using the dscaler video codec. If I use the powerDVD 7 codec, it takes much more time.

If I use the Vista MCE to watch tv, the channel will change in less than one second.

Do you have any ideas what is the reason?

Thank you very much!
Fabian

Its not enabled by default since its under-test.

If you want to test it then there are the steps:
get latest versions of MP & TV3
install those as normally
create a text file on c: called useTsReader.txt on the PC where you watch TV
watch tv, recorded tv and play *.ts files in MyVideo

I think - if you have the TsReader.tx file then its enabled - one should simply look it up :), but you my be right.
