A few days ago I started receiving errors when attempting to view BBC One HD channel. i.e. "No Signal" and then eventually "No Channel Found" (or something similar). ...all while using MP1 v1.8.0. Tried a retune of the channels to no avail. Then updated to MP1.9 with same problem but now always "No channel". So, deleted channel in TV Server Config, did a retune but no BBC One HD channel found in the list. All other Freeview HD channels look okay. Checked the log files and can't see if anything untowards. Provided TVService log for further info.
Any ideas?

PS: Since uploading to MP1 (1.9), I can no longer find the MP app that creates my log file archive. Renamed or removed?

    Hello

Your tuning details for that channel seem to be correct.
From the signal strength/quality readings in the scan I think you may need to look at your satellite dish alignment, cabling etc. The readings are patchy at best; often very low. It looks like you're not able to lock on high frequency transponders in either the low or high band.

For example, here's the scan of the transponder that is carrying that channel. Note the 5% signal quality reading and no channels found:

I've this problem on 2 PCs with tuner cards fed from the same dish (different cables of course), so kinda makes sense that there's a common problem. It's also causing havoc with my EPG Collector feeds as I've had very intermittent acces to these for about 2 weeks. I'll go and check (when it's stopped raining) but it's fairly new and a zone-2 dish (rain shouldn't effect it I guess). If it's not obvious cable problem, then sounds like trying a new LNB (also only a few months old).
    Thanks for the pointer...

Rain - especially heavy rain - can affect any dish. I would check dish alignment, cabling then LNB... in that order.

Replaced the LNB (replaced the octo LNB by my old 4-way spare LNB). Lo and behold, I can now obtain EPGC updates with a good old exit code 0. No idea what's wrong with the new octo LNB. Only about 3 months old but guess there's a higher density of electronics so more prone to failure. The details of this octo LNB are provided below just in case anyone else has a similar setup.

Similarly, my MediaPortal (Lost BBC One HD channel) has also been resolved. ...and found a few extra channels that I thought I'd lost permanently.
My advice is to not go above 4-way LNB as problem may have come from density of electronics making it very sensitive to damage and possibly weather conditions.

External connectors (at the LNB end) were all clean and appeared undamaged. Used a noddy signal strength (simple meter) tool and quiet a jump (approx +50%) in signal strength from the octo to the 4-way LNB
