TEST FOR RTSP : used MP 1.4 Pre Release from today

2 things :

i have bug with AAC codec when use TV codec for play TS files from Internet provider. / you can reproduce this in Myvideos
When option for play TS files with Vidéo Codec is checked, no problem !


Dump TV serveur.rar :
Zip files with 3 TS vidéo High / Med bitrate AVC + AAC (bug)
Normal AVC + MPEG Lay 2 (work)
tested with tsreader 73 on singleseat

2. radio rtsp stream don't work with Dedicated server
@EdG found bug when Radio (RTSP provider) is used with Dedicated server + Client system only, audio is played 2-3 sec, after no sound ...

These bugs should be in their own bug report threads - this thread is for feedback on the TsReader.ax dev versions, these may not be TsReader.ax problems (and they will get lost in this 80+ page thread....)

The files play OK using TsReader.ax + DivX AAC audio decoder + MS DTV-DVD video decoder (or PDV11 video decoder) in GraphStudio, so this is a decoder problem.

(LAV audio + LAV video => green screen + no audio on my system, using both LAV splitter and TsReader.ax)

LAV splitter + LAV audio decoder combo plays the file correctly here, so it could be an issue with TsReader.

Yes, seems to be tsreader bug, because i have tested all relation with LAV

Tested with graphstudio, Ts is played fine With LAV Codec / splitter, only Tv Codec don't work and the only thing we can't change is Tsreader.

OK - I can reproduce the problem with TsReader.ax + LAV audio decoder. Using DivX (or Mainconcept) AAC decoders works OK, so that is a solution for now.

This isn't a new problem - v0.5.63 (MP 1.3 version) also has the problem - so I'll just put it in Mantis for now.

I've had a play around with the code, but no real clues as to exactly what's wrong (audio pin PMT info looks OK in GraphStudio etc) - it's 'raw' AAC rather than LATM AAC, but I've got other test files using that and they play OK....

No real idea from the logs about that problem - I suspect it's more likely to be the server end because it looks like TsReader.ax is not receiving data sometimes.

this is only related to AAC bug (1.)
for Client stream bug (2.) new mantis ?
