Re: AW: M2TS (H.264 AND VC-1) playback - how-to needed

The problem with m2ts is, there is no way to support subtitle or audio track change at the moment. You need to mux m2ts in to MKV to be able to do it.

Oh really? I read that it's possible with MediaPortal. If not, I have to look for another program.
I often watch Japanese movies. But without subtitles....tough one!

This is not a player problem, it is splitter problem. You can redirect splitting to haali, but halli will fail to spit m2ts with HD audio.

Mux m2ts in to MKV is not an problem, but audio and subtitles must be in matroska supported formats. You can do it in DSmux from haali (installed by SAF - START-SAF-Tools)

AW: M2TS (H.264 AND VC-1) playback - how-to needed

Hmm, I see.
I guess I have to use TMT3 then for BluRay ISOs. But at least I can watch my TV Series (mkv) with subtitle.

Oh, about TMT. I don't wanna buy it online.
But here in Germany I can only get TotalMedia Extreme software.
Does anyone of you know, if I can install the TotalMedia Theatre 3 with it?

is that DSmux still working -
i have here some big (each 7.6 Gig) files which i wanna have in MKV format

    - but they are in m2ts format ...

and - do i need more than the DSmux to change the format from .m2ts into .mkv ?

    will that work?
