[WiP] madVR support in MP1 (9 Viewers)

I think it's the same crash i was getting when debugging and seems to be because the release failed and no clue how to fix that
I have try with nothing checked too and it didn't seems i can't reproduce the blank screen but maybe related to some channel setting like you said SD/HD/Interlaced or not etc.

I fear that we really need to add a timer somewhere to try to avoid such crash.

Ok Ive updated nvidia driver to last version. Originally installed the one Gigabyte has on his web page and seems to solve the problem. Need more testing.

Take my reports with caution.
Ill do more test and report. Im still not familiar with new GTX750ti and may be related to that.

It seems i can reproduce the issue too (blank screen) with this option : (368.39 GPU drivers)

Oh i notice something strange, let me explain lol

I can trigger the blank screen with master and madVR TsReader too
Maybe with master one it a little more long to get the issue, but still when the issue happen, if i start mpc-hc (i have MP on Home) on top of my screen (where is MP) MPC-HC failed to set the D3D Device too, i get the sound but no video and have like this :

So it seems that GPU is defo broken here, if i close MP without closing MPC-HC, MPC-HC works again, so i fear (even is madVR tray is close, so it mean no more active) the GPU is in some broken state until i close MP.

And in final, after closing MP, i was able to crash MPC-HC : So maybe MP is not the issue lol

I have just retry and 3D works from bluray folder or iso, this is strange lol

yap, damn strange that 3d stuff
i attached u some logs from testing with v148 and 149
first tried direct switching 3d to 3d witout stop again
the outcome was bad, similar like with mphc. a fullstop blackscreen with instantly mp unresponsive + mad error (v148_d3to3d error.log)
then i tried v148 asgain with some iso and with a few different 3d files, all seems good. but i stopped the playback or let it run until the end, tv 3d detection works consistent everytime 3d picture airs nicely (v148_3d_ok.log)
so back to v149 and 3d iso handling -i tried it with the same isofile 5 times with various outcomes, detects on every run
1. run - no 3d picture, 2d picture with madstats show im running in d3d9 mode not d3d11 exclusive
2. run - no 3d picture, picture looks strange d3d11 and 3d is there but not a real 3d pic
3. run - 3d ok hurray -all seems good
4 .run - as the first again, and if i go back to menu the view gets switched to side to side
5. run - 3d is ok again, that weird s***

did all with an nvidia 640 and a sony 3d tv,
lav c-b and mad see recent settings pics

Can i use Direct3D 11 mode for 3D as well ? Thats one of the settings i have activated...could this prevent my TV from switching to 3D mode?

You don't needed it. MadVr will activate by it self if needed, like for 3D video.

There is nothing we can do. MPC/HC does the same.
Madvr will remain 3D but deactivates 3D on stop of previous video (there is like a timer). If next 3D video is started before madvr releases 3D, the result is playback is initiated in 3D but the stop timer will very shortly swap between 3D to 2D and the playback will continue on 2D (the TV will go 2D).
So you can play one 3D after another but must wait for the 3D mode to be released. (TV will blink or something similar).

... think i figured something new out for me at least. I seem to have solved the issue that my TV was not switching to 3D mode. I had to change some settings somewhat to the opposite you mentioned what is weird

I had to change to the following:



Now my TV switches using MPHC but i get a black screen only sound can be heard... if i minimize the player to windowed mode - picture appears as well.

Still have to check what happens when i us MP.

Update: disabling automatic fullscreen exclusive mode solves the blackscreen issue for me in MPHC

Update 2: works in MP as well buuuuut pressing the pause button just shows the pause icon on screen but the video goes on playing
