    I have been looking at some of the documentation on madVR and at some of the Freeze Reports.

    @daWooky has madVR at
    C:\Program Files (x86)\LAV Filters\x86\madVR
    @joecrow has madVR at
    C:\Program Files\Madvr

    I have mine installed on my Raid (F: )

    The forum for madVR has the following and I have to ask if this might be part of why some have issues and others don't
    Install madVR into a location with write permission (not Program Files). It will install a settings.bin in the installation folder.

    http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=146228&page=1969

    At the same time I see these Freeze Reports are made on 64bit machines and yet @daWooky seems to be running a 32bit version if the directory info is correct. Possibly another cause for the issues?

    Sorry to bother you with "fuctional" problem... I want to go back to original 1.15 after testing Madvr... I've just reinstalled MP 1.15 with no futher issues, but I can't get OV work again. Always same error when trying to play any video:

    Code:
    [09-06 14:17:22,379] [OnlineVideos] [WARN ] System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'Void DShowNET.Helper.DirectShowUtil.ReleaseComObject(System.Object)'.
       at OnlineVideos.MediaPortal1.Player.OnlineVideosPlayer.BufferFile(SiteUtilBase siteUtil)
       at OnlineVideos.MediaPortal1.GUIOnlineVideos.<>c__DisplayClass6f.<Play_Step4>b__6b()
       at OnlineVideos.MediaPortal1.Gui2UtilConnector.<>c__DisplayClass5.<ExecuteInBackgroundAndCallback>b__2()

    ... I've uninstalled OV madvr 2.2.0.0 (also settings), and delete manually OnlineVideos.MediaPortal1.dll after... Then I've installed OV from MediaPortal Extension Manager... and no way. I can't play any video.

    Any idea?

    I have get some kind of same issue, when updating official MPEI (i think it comes from OV) it seems there is a cache somewhere and then it reinstall the previous one (so here the madVR one).
    So i fear you need to manually extract bin from MPEI or remove the cache somewhere. I didn't remember what i have done on my side when it happen but for sure your issue rings like mine at that time :)

    I have been trying to cause any of the issues with madVR but have had no trouble.
    I do have 1 thing in the logs that is troubling.

    Starting a tv channel logs

    [2016-09-06 11:03:57,621] [Log ] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - RadioRecorded:OnPlayRecordingBackChanged TV F:\Timeshifting\live4-0.ts.tsbuffer

    I have no radio on this system and it is disabled in TV Setup.

    Yep looks strange lol, i know that there is some same code for TV and Radio but shouldn't happen lol

    I have extracted madVR into a folder d:\utils\madVR so i have full right access but i'm not sure it's a root of cause but good find :)
    Thanks.

    I finally got around to installing on my Client only system - Sylvester.
    Once configured, I started the TV and got the Black screen.
    With madVR I had also set the Diag mode so I have that log also

    I know madVR has ctrl keys one being ctrl-j for stats.
    Where can I locate the other keys?

    Yep in your log, you should see : TsReaderPlayer: OnVideoReceived() callback if not logged, then we will have a blackscreen :)

    Code:
    [2016-09-07 00:00:02,708] [Log  ] [MPMain  ] [DEBUG] - VMR9: StartMediaCtrl start put_WindowStyle
    [2016-09-07 00:00:02,741] [Log  ] [MPMain  ] [DEBUG] - VMR9: StartMediaCtrl start hr: 1
    [2016-09-07 00:00:04,120] [Log  ] [MPMain  ] [DEBUG] - TsReaderPlayer: OnVideoReceived() callback

    I will look at the codex for TV....
    As for the tsreader, this was a first install with V185 so whatever was installed with it is what is being used.
