Selecting Direct Sound rather than MPAR made no change to the long stop times (both TVS and OLV).:( Also noted that while the stop time with TV is not a problem it is with Recorded TV.o_O
Test 7 core seems to have fixed the resume from sleep problem though.:)

Couple of ideas to try out:

    1. Disable LAV Filters Tray Icon (for all of them).
    2. Disable MadVR Tray Icon.
    3. Lower your resolution to FHD, only do so if u are currently running 4K.
See if any of this changes the outcome.

Resolution is already at FHD, tried both 1&2 but no change. Still taking way to long to get back to the gui after stop.

May i add that for me it is not instant either. It takes around 2 seconds. I wonder what is affecting it. It could be heavy HDD use, i got SSD and maybe this is why it is fastrer.
Can u check ur HDD usage during STOP?
Edit: i see u also got an SSD, i am sorry, i am running out of ideas.... was it the same with Catalyst?

Ok, i didn't have time yesterday. Some answers:
    • I have a SSD, but series, movies and timeshift and hdd.
    • I test with 4k, but as joecrow has FHD i don't think it is relevant to this.
    • I have no lav filters icons activated and after reboot i also have no madvr tray icon, so it's only open if i change something and test than.
    • MusicDB Reorgansation is deactivated. But it is my "productive" system, so can't stop all :p
    • D3D11 is actived in madvr in all Tests so far. Without this i have problems (black screen after stop or even crash, log posted some posts back) with AMD.
    • I use DirectSound over a Denon Receiver
Maybe i was a bit too fast with core test 3. Yesterday I also saw slow stops with this bin, but they "feel" not as long as before. So i tested my standard file with this core test 3 again and it tooks 22s to stop, Stop time was 18:00:00. So maybe it's content related. Will give core 7 a chance.

Hmm, I do have an SSD but all the movies are stored on an HDD. I'll move a vid to the SSD and see if there is any change. I'm fairly sure the problem did happen with Catalyst, certainly on OLV but possible not so bad. I've been trying it out on my desktop PC but the hardware is very different so not sure if its a help or not but worst I'm seeing there is also ca 2 secs. (same Crimson drivers).
I'm tempted to do a clean install of 1.15 then add the HEVC branch the finally Madvr, just to see where or if the problem starts up. With an MP settings backup it should not take too long and I'll take restore points at each stage along the way. What do you think @Sebastiii @Kotik

    UPDATE:-
Stop time still much too long 20+secs playing a vid from SSD visa TVS.:(

Its always a good idea to start fresh. But i would not transfer settings. I would start with defaults and slowly add more settings. This way u will make sure that settings do not affect or affect the issue. It is a long proccess but as u can see the issue is not there on ur other PC, u need to find what is different. And then we can troubleshoot from that point.
