I tried V320 and I am somehow out of the thread ;)

Sorry if I ask, but Is there now some possibilty to get HDR to run on an AMD only on HDR files. I have the same problem (also with d3d11, new lav, new madvr, new mpmadvr) as with earlier version, i only can activate HDR on TV than it is activated in windows. But if it is activated all content besides HDR looks aweful and washed out. If i deactivate HDR in windows, it is not triggered by madvr on TV.
I can only comment on Nvidia, but i expect it to work the same for AMD.

You need to keep the Windows HDR function disabled (it's buggy).
In madVR settings >> Devices >> YOUR TV >> hdr >> 'passthrough HDR content to the display' needs to be checked.
Also check the 'send HDR metadata to the display' on the bottom.

    That should be enough.

Apparently it is not just a bug, madshi didnt yet implement deinterlacing with D3D11 decoding, so setting D3D11 decoding in lav filters will not deinterlace at all, at least not until madshi adds support for it.
Thanks for that @Kotik I will check out the stuff in the Doom9 forum, but as far as I know all German TV is 1080p, so deinterlacing should not be an issue:unsure:. Can anyone else confirm that?

Got no idea, i guess u are talking about DVB-T2, the only german channels i get here are the free to air DVB-S2, of which some are interlaced and some are not.
Sorry i dont think i can be of any more help.
P.S. i am still running an ancient version of madvr here. Too scared to update :) hehe

I have looked the log and didn't notice something wrong, but if you can reproduce easily :
1- Can you try with watchdog (first option) but clear/remove older log ?
Madshi send me a tool that permit to create a freeze report when madVR itself can be done.
So could be nice to use that tool and save the freeze report from it.

2- D3D11 has a possible deadlock but should be ok with the future madVR version but if you can supply log from it hang, it can confirm that it's the same issue :p

Attached are Option 1 logs as requested and the trace from the Madshi tool (seperate incidents).
    Cheers:)
