most likely yes but hard to compare on strong clients i must try on single seat htpc and weak igpu to be able to judge... i only thought it was a bit faster but after that damn 4h taking tennis last night idk...^^
i will see about it later m8, but in general its running nicely, no weak points discovered so far

zap times are great again on the htpc with tuner change, thx
but some weak points
screens from client with 1060, there sometimes the present queue wont fill, it just stays at 1/2 but no drops so jfyi
and a strange problem on an older igpu client (still madvr 91.x) that seem to suddenly dropping frames with full hd .ts files..
tried recordings, old rec in myvideo and also full hd live tv
see captures same ts file (old mepo recording) compared with mphc and old backbuffer settings/present frames in advance

Btw, you succeed to setup a custom mode @48Hz ?

Yep it's strange. x twice or even some windowed toggles (that works smooth and scale properly now btw didn't affect the drops...

On the other PC it's indeed @48 fps custom resolution and mad optimised

So it's ok after X or window toggle
It seems then that is didn't fully properly set madvr reposition window, it's maybe trigger by the change made to avoid the deadlock.
Will see if i can reproduce to try to fix that
The present queue to 2 can happen also because some OSD is displayed (i know that we didn't see them but it can be related to not video is fitted correctly) lol

tried old ts recording again but with mepo video codec ticked at codecs - similar result like with mphc, 0 drops
and x or y does not seem to change anything, drops just continue... see tv capture
