Ok so what i have seen is that Auto3D get the mac address of your PC and send it to Bravia :
/// <summary>
/// getControlMac retrieves the MAC address from the static method GetMacAddress().
/// </summary>
/// <returns>A string containing a processed MAC address.
/// For example: Actual Mac 01:02:03:04:05:06 returns 01-02-03-04-05-06</returns>
So if you have change the mac address or change LAN card, you need to reset something i suppose but maybe must be done on TV side ?
thanks m8. on tv side is what i fear too, damn scavenger hunt
btw. do u still need that disabled low latency ticked? and ya unticked rgb 48 on purpose in lav? see my settings from the two htpc attached
Disable it to always have the full queue for video but can be unchecked too
For rgb 48, not on purpose, i didn't remember why i did that and surely a long long long time ago lol.
If you reproduce the crash, can you try with MPC-HC Engine ? to compare
bravia connection driving me crazy but now i have to go through it ...
have also played a little further with the new test versions earlier but it is strange and i'm not really sure yet. (but will write a summary soon)
but i certainly know fse with 1703 and mepo works as it should here too...not with 1709. mphc fse also works with 1709 and i still want to compare it with the new insider..... unfortunately the auto3d connection intervened^^
@daWooky RGB48 is unchecked by default in LAV, don't know why. Anyway it has no use for video, you only need it if you want to display things like 16 bpc lossless images through your media player (for example I enabled it to test with PNGs how madVR dithers gradients).
Hey about Insider (17040) and FSE, i'm getting strange result lol.
With MPC-HC player, it's depends of the mpc-hc version, some works and others don't, i didn't find why and maybe it's related to sort of game mode but not sure, for sure all MPC-HC version i have builded from source didn't works with FSE.
With MP and Kodi DsPlayer D3D9 and D3D11 works if i check the option "disable fullscreen optimization". If this option is unchecked, only D3D11 works.
