[WiP] madVR support in MP1 (18 Viewers)

    The freeze reports seems to not be useful :( (i mean i didn't see something wrong in it). Is it the crash report from the madVR crash window or the tools ?
    It seems that when the crash madVR window appear and show logs, if we start the madVR tool crash report from the first post in parallel, it doesn't always give the same result, so it maybe i didn't see the culprit in the attached one :p

    I have read on Doom9 forum that one user always ask if 3D MVC works with AMD card, because on his side, it's not working when FSE is OFF (for sure on FCU windows build).
    Can you confirm that you need FSE ON to have 3D MVC working ?

    On Nvidia that's not needed :p
    I read this too. I can confirm this for now or said that other way round. I didn't find a solution to get 3D MVC to work till now with FSE off.

    Can you compare your result against MPC-HC ? (even if MPC-HC works with D3D11 C++, could be nice to have the result :p)
    I don't own AMD card so i can test on my side :(
    Does older madVR MP build version works ? (V3XX etc.)
    Hard to test with MPC-HC, so it's my HTPC with only remote control and MPC-HC is not compatible with WAF ;). Will see if i find some time to test more. The random crashes / black screens are hard to recreate. Had yesterday again one black screen which was on stop after a whole movie. My test before with the same setup / settings hadn't show a problem. So maybe it has something to do with runtime, waking up from standby...

    I did test copy back in lav. With that i had no problems and it worked also with V3xxx. But HDR is only working with D3D11, so the problems comes not directly from MP and more in comibination with using D3D11 lav.

    I have noticed that i can trigger an issue :
    When doing Pause, somehow if the video was stuttering or depend of madVR settings, the Pause is not always handled, so i have added back a verification of Graph if paused (for a delay of 20 frames).
    Can confirm, had this also one time.

    doom9 does not work atm... but it seems to have some significant changes:

    madVR v0.92.10
    * algo "remove compression artifacts" can now be run as part of NGU
    * reverted NGU Sharp back to gamma light -> slightly better anti-aliasing
    * removed NNEDI3 (based on user feedback)
    * ever so slightly improved HDR behaviour
    * default value for HDR -> SDR conversion is now set to "200 nits"
    * default value for "enable automatic fullscreen exclusive mode" is now "off"
    * default value for "use d3d11 for presentation" is now "on"
    * fixed: using multiple madVR instances at the same time could sometimes fail


    200 nits nice and fse default finally gone but nnedi3 completely removed,wth. :eek: ...that, i did not expect

    Yes Madvr v0.92.10 looks interesting, I'm pleased the FSE is now default off as I never saw any advantage with it (just increased render times and gave me 3D issues). Generally speaking 0.92.* has greatly improved reliability particularly of OV vids on my HTPC (MP 1.8 Final, for WAF reasons I have to confine most testing to my Desktop:rolleyes:) almost eliminating MP hangups on playback starts and stops that seemed a regular issue with (v 0.91* and earlier.(y).
    TV zapping with D3D11 set in LAV still no working though.:(

    this is the build done on teamcity with "new test installer" agent , the build agent seems not work, issue error are available on MP2 building too. @high

    We need a login to download it :)
    So i'm trying to build one from BOT :p
    Still i was able to build also from TC (if i'm not wrong lol)
