@joecrow for testing the 1.19 on your other PC, you just have to copy the folder 'Mediaportal' from : "C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal"
To somewhere on your PC and it should works from starting the mediportal.exe from the copied folder

Tried that but sadly I have fixed the original problem with a re-scan (channels had been moved), so could only try to simulate it by disconnecting the antenna. Both Mps reacted the same (error no hang) on the test PC so I think it is the different tuner rather than the code, though of course I'm using the latest TV Server, has that changed from MP 1.19 Final?

Yep latest version try to not reset D3D device on start/stop so it can avoid some weird issue that we have seen lately lol.

testin 478 I have a rare problem...
My Videos shows: Your follder database is corupt. If I have a TV channel on view wile I move to My videos the Madvr also crashes.
I have deleted the data base, created a gain but always happends.

here logs. Madvr crash 09:52

It comes from "System.OutOfMemoryException" so i have try your settings on my side and can't reproduce it for now, but for sure something goes wrong
