[WiP] madVR support in MP1 (41 Viewers)

A question from a newbee with MadVR in MP 1.16 Pre.
1) I have problems to disable in the MadVR Control the 3 sec window option while using the exclusive mode
Seems like MP somehow overwrites the config. - at least while using MP the window appears again and the option is re-enabled afterwards
Is there a seperate config for MP?

2) I observe some problems while using MadVR and hitting the Playback Stop button on my remote during playback
With LAV Splitter I return to the MP Menue (e.g Videos or Moving Pictures)
having MadVR enabled I leave completely MP and return to desktop
I am currently trying to narrow it down as the logs give no clue - so I am interested if there is already something known

You are right, the option is enable when exclusive mode is in use, it seems that kodi does that so i have does the same but maybe i'm wrong
So yes the option is forced on playback start

About 2)
No clue for now maybe try to change DXVA Native to CB or reverse to see if it's better)

Edit from your log, it seems that doing a stop is done many times, so not sure if it's because you hit many time stop or bug in remote or something.

Can you try with Keyboard ('B' Key) ?

I did the proposal in

...now it seems gone.

I will check the logs in the upcoming sessions if it is still true with the multiple hits.
I observed as well that there were multiple hits although i pressed the button ones
seems like a driver issue as it happened with several different Harmony remotes

As soon as I can reproduce the problem I will check if it happens also while pressing the B key

Just wanted to report back on the newest version:

• random GUI flickering in pause mode
• pause menu disappears after a while when movie is paused (don`t know if this intended )
• pause button not working all the time, sometimes it still takes several button push`s to pause the movie
• Random MP crashes on "info button" press or its skips forward when pressing the info button

Was thinking pause was solved in latest version but maybe i didn't push the code, need to look at that

To debug the crash on multi-monitor tried something which didn't need any refresh rate change:

- Latest madVR build v0.91.4
- Enabled all the bells and whistles in it (NNEDI / hq scaling etc..)
- Disabled refresh rate changer in both madVR and Mediaportal
- Set LAV to DXVA2 (native)
- Installed and setup SVP:

- Set SVP to scale and added profiles for standard viewing and anime
- High CPU usage due to madVR + SVP (3:2 pulldown is heavy)

Result however is no more crashes in dual monitor so something about the unhook during playback stop is crashing it, can't replicate in Zoom Player yet so might be some event in Mediaportal itself that is causing it
