BTW if you are considering going to Win 10 (not sure about Win 8*) please note, sadly, TMT6 will cause intermittent BSODs, you would be lucky to get through a single movie without at least one. So if you do want to use an external player with Win 10 you would have to go to PowerDVD.

PowerDVD(3D) should be OK without an Nvidia GPU.

KInd of hard to get logs as it happens randomly ... yesterday for example i had no issues with pause but GUI flickering was back....

i must correct my statement a little bit: The video runs in fullscreen, but the OSD is 1/4 screen. Don't see this in my fast tests . Maybe you can do the trick for OSD also. If you need I could post screenshot and logs later.

It's hard to reproduce on my side, i have a different issue (and will more complicated to resolve) but i think 1/4 OSD can be resolved but i need to reproduce your step !!! lol. Need a 4K TV ?
I have try to start MP in 1280x720 and play a 1920x1080 sample but didn't get the result i want to reproduce

You must change the resolution in windows, not of mp. So change windows resolution to 1280 x 720, start mp in fullscreen, let mp open. change resolution in windows to 1920x1080 and start a video.

hi seb, tried v272 and v273 but I get a flashing tv home..
As soon as I want to open any of the options like the miniguide it will be quite bad and reacts almost no more
