I am using QAM to find digital channels, and it finds most of them. There are a few HD channels missing from the scan however. I have a TV that also uses QAM and it finds these missing channels, but my TV only reports a major and minor channel like 107-2 and not a frequency or any of the other parameters MP asks for.
I see two possibilities:
1. Is it possible that QAM is not scanning the right frequencies? If so, how can I tell the QAM scan to look at a broader spectrum of frequencies?
2. Is there a way to add channels manually? I have tried putting 107 in the major and 2 in the minor but that doesn't work. Is there a specific formula for adding an ATSC channel?
