Manualy setup database? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

i installed the server and the client new on my maschine. It was running fine before. The TV-Card is still working eith the TV2 engine. After i installed new BDA drivers and firmware for the card, it was not running anymore, so i decided to install everything again.
I also installed the SQL-Server new.

When i first start the TVSetup, im not ask for the database, and cant test it.
I can config the server, now its showing the ip adres, not the name as before?!

I can connect to the server via the MP TV section, but cant start a channel.

If i try to start timeshift in the server config tool i get an "unknown error occured"

Have you tried deleting the sql tv library database files? with MS SQL the TV dbase is called tvlibrary or something similar - do a search on these files on your pc and delete them. then next time you start the TV server setup, it should ask you if you want to recreate the library.

i had a similar problem to yours and doing the above fixed it. good luck.

thnx for the tip. i found that with the the search function, i deleted all files from sql, and now it seems to work, at least the setup...

but i cant get my tv card to work again. if i try in the manual control i only get a "No Video/Audio detected" error:

have you tried the latest svns?

is your card/drivers supported by MP? see the manual wiki for a list of supported cards. Sound like it could be a graph error.
