For a long time now i have tried to figure out the new manual episode importer.
And i just cant wrap my head around it...

Can someone please explain it to me like i am 80 years old ?

As i understand it works like this:

1. Set up import path - Check
2. "quick" scan folder - Check (picture 1.jpg)
3. Edit the correkt episode info - Check (picture 2.jpg)

Then why doesent it still import the episodes?

p.s: realy miss the old manual episode importer...

You appear to be doing it right? are you saying it doesnt save what you selected when you finish the process?

you could try to rename the movies as a workaround
    eg

    Stargate SG1.S00E07.Continium.whatever.avi
    and
    Stargate SG1.S00E08.The Ark of Truth.whatever.avi

Supply pictures for all the steps of the wizard (you did press Next right?)...did you confirm the local episode matched up to an online episode in Step 3 of the wizard?

Delete your episodes from database for the entire series in details view, start the wizard and take screenshots and show save the log at end.

Your Step1 seems right, you edited the local parse information so it should auto match online later.

Ahmm, I think u need to tick the checkbox in youre step2, otherwise it'll ignore those entries. Auto-parsed files will have this ticked automatically, but if it can't it wants to know if you actually want this file.

    Or was that changed damienh?

Nope, you still need to tick the boxes if you want them Added. We should do an auto check if you manually enter info which I thought we did.

Sorry guys for the late answer...

In my infinate visdom i f....d it up. So i had to reinstall MP from scratch. And it took a while...
For some reason it seems to work now. I have been able to get the manual episode importer to work.
I have no ide why it works now and not before...

p.s i had ticked the checkbox before also...
