Mark a share as static (1 Viewer)

Afternoon all.
I have a NAS box set up to house my TV series collection and this is split into several shares, each share being on a separate disc on the box. Once I fill up one share, I put another disc in the NAS, mount a new share on it and start filling that up. This works well for me as each share is limited to the size of the disc and that makes backup easier.
I'm currently filling up my third share/disc. The content of the first two shares is now static with nothing new being added to them.
Is there a way to tell My TVSeries that, so that it doesn't have to re-scan them all the time? I've had a good poke round the setup and the closest thing I can find is to un-check enable next to the share path on the import tab. However this obviously removes the contents of that drive from the database as well which is not what I want.

Any suggestions?
Thanks Guys.

You can't do it on a share but you can do it on a series, in configuration details tab select the series that no longer need updates and set 'Ignore on Scan'
