i really like this skin, but imo at least the time or date and time are missing, e.g. in home or basichome or other "overview" screens. will this be integrated?

Once the skin is out im sure someone will be able to provide edited XML files that have a date/clock on them - so dont worry too much

nah i had already done that one, but just decided to put the best image in an animation and get rid of the others.
yeah you could make it thiner or semi transparent, but it's just the idea.

Can you actually move the Top Album Tracks / Tagged Album Tracks into some kind of popup menu / slide out menu.
I didn't think it was possible in the current skin engine, Trevor and I were designing some new screens for now playing, but whenever he moved the listcontrol to a pop out side menu he found that it keep popping up automatically with each track, and there was no way for it to stay hidden.

Is this possible, because if it is we'd love to know how to do it for our StreamedMP music playing now screen mods.

Nah...Now Playing isn't behaving well, focus changes to the top tracks listcontrol, no matter what you set defaultcontrol to. We can just hope that hardcoded stuff like this dies in MP2

ahh ok you're having the same problems that we were having.
Someone needs to write a nowplaying plugin and add the following support;
1. image mask
2. borders
3. better list control
4. able to interface with lyrics plugin for lrc/lyrics display]
5. able to use lyrics plugin to display lrc in a format similar to karaoke (ie just display the active lrc lines)
6. fix the mp star rating tags so you can do it without imagelist control or with a scalable imagelist control
7. seperate album thumb and artist thumb image controls.
