i wasnt aware that myTVSeries became part of the mp core. That's good to hear, since the original creator of this plugin is probably very busy to continue updating it.

What do you think about including different backgrounds and graphics with the skin? People could then choose what background and graphics to use in the installer. I would be willing to create some different backgrounds and graphics.

Hi,

I downloaded the file of the beginning of this thread and installed it.

However, I wondered why there was nearly no config dialog and MP (last night SVN) warned my, because the skin is seen to be outdated.

Am I doing anything wrong, because former versions of MCE worked very well.

no, you aren't doing anything wrong. But the skin is for mp .2.0.4 only, not for the svn. The box you are getting just checks one line in the xml code for a version number, i could change that value and nothing else and have it go away, but it won't mean that the skin is any more compatible with the svn versions.

The version for download works in most screens in the svn version of mp, but not all. I have been keeping up with the svn on my own htpc but haven't made it available for a couple of reasons. The main reason is that i'm in the process of cleaning up the look of the OSDs among a bunch of other updates/improvements. Give me a day or two to finish up the big changes, and i'll upload a svn version with the new graphics.

It will probably be take the weekend to finish up (i'm having problems deciding how to do the music, video and tv windows in the bottom right corner). Here's a partial list of what is new, and a screenshot showing what the new osd windows look like:

Updates:

• Most (if not all) the updates that allow the skin to work with the latest svn version. Includes updated home, basichome and plugins screens among too many skin files to list here.
• Updated OSDs for onscreen menus, see below
• Updated OSDs for full screen video and tv, similar to the regular bluetwo in implementation, but using the mce themes/images
• Improved Information screens (Album, Video, Pictures, etc.). The screens now use the whole screen instead of just the bottom and right parts. I still have one or two to do.

I will not be updating the bluetwo1280x720 skin anymore, but this is the skin of choice on my htpc, so it will continue to get updates.
