hmm ok, so i should expect all the button to work if it is a tru mce clone?

Yup,
If it uses the eHome driver(XP SP2) & we have the correct id for it in MP, but those reported from your system doesn't seem to work, maybe try the ir server suite maybe it will work....

i've just had another poke around in system devices, while the IR receiver is working, i don't think it is use the correct MCE Remote drivers? could by why its not picking up all the options, do you know where the mce driver is so i can force it to use that in xp?

Nope i don't know, usually it installs the correct drivers on first time it's plugged in, maybe someone else know....

Hi,

Did you ever get over this problem? I just bought one of these dongles and thought that I would give it a go. They're soooo cheap. I don't want to re-invent the wheel. Any advice? Anyone?
