Hi Andreas26,

I've had the same problems. First with a Twinhan 3040 card. Exactly the same symtoms are you have. Then I bought a Hauppauge, the same issue, so I returned it. Today I got a Terratec 2400i which supposedly can handle this. Don't know if I will install it since S1 works perfectly with my old Twinhan now.

On my system the screen blanking during shutdown seems to get "stuck" and when system wakes up the video output stays disabled.

Would it be possible to add a setting for that screen blanking?

There is a registry value for that. Open the following regkey:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Herman van Eijk\MceStandbyTool]

There is a dword value called "BlankScreen". Change this to 0 to disable the blanking.

Please report if this helps. It looks like MST is unable to detect MP is loaded, possibly the blanking needs some tweaking for specific situations.

Thanks for the info. I'll test that registry key tomorrow and report back if it's helping with the blank screens.

It worked once... don't have any free time to test it more today. I'll report later this week how the tests have gone.

Unfortunately I have to report that the registry setting doesn't seem to fix the blank screen issue. Only one of the four test recordings that I did worked ok.

pepiho: MST And powerscheduler are two different things. One has nothing to do with the other. Plz check the wiki for powerscheduler.

hveijk: With MP-RC2 it seems that MP crashes lately on hibernating. At least I now very often see the MP-Test-Tool being active after a resume. Is it possible that MST closes programs too fast?

I will do some MP testing soon, I will try to reproduce this.

Can you give me some more details?
What exactly do you mean by too fast?
What OS are you running?
Does it only happen with hibernating or standby as well?
Are you suspending MP through the menu or by remote?

Sorry for the short info only. This on WinXP Pro. With the closing too fast was just a guess. I am suspending via Powerscheduler (5 minutes inactivity on Homescreen). I only tested hibernation. As I said, this is only a guess. Short after I have written the post yesterday I heard on IRC from others users that they have the problem. Didnt have the time to ask if they have MST installed at all. So it could be very well that this isnt related to MST at all...

I have MePo running under MCE, and I get both tabs.
