obviously you would need to have same driver version (and maybe even same hardware). Despite @may24 hasn't yet posted settings ov LAV video decoder.

indeed it looks like it's not the splitter at all.

I tried the DXVA(native) setting (instead of the CUDA) and now the mkv clips work
... but now the "Deinterlace" Area is greyed out ... does that mean: no HW support for deinterlacing anymore ?

if you use EVR, then it should deinterlace correctly when used with any of LAV's decoder options, because LAV can tell to EVR that content should be deinterlaced, and EVR will use GPU automatically if supported by drivers.

Did you also try keeping the CUDA selection and unticking HEVC (which your GPU does not support) to check if that works?

Hi all,

I did the test and indeed: unchecking the HEVC option in the Lav Video Decoder Section fixed the issue.
So I can leave CUDA still on.
