Media Portal crashes when starting TV (1 Viewer)

Using the latest MediaPortal and TV-server on Vista I am having difficulties to watch tv.
When I enter Mediaportal TV I can see the tvguide, but when I want to watch a channel
the tv-screen stays empty and crashes MediaPortal. I am able to do a restart.
I am having no difficulties to watch tv on Vista MCE which leads me to believe that I have a video-card problem ?
