It opens the door for so many things to go wrong in various contexts, including on resume.
None of which need to happen. The MP1 architecture is very limited in this respect and for this reason I am eagerly waiting for a couple of things to get fixed in MP2 before I will switch my complete setup.

But we are getting off topic.

EDIT: By the way: I am using the central database setup only since some three months. The resume issues exist from the very beginning on this client.

I now used netplwiz to create entries from the user selection and password dialogues. And surprise, the data are different. DefaultDomainName now contains the name of the PC (!) whereas DefaultUserName is now domain\HTPC1.
I continued testing (to the degree possible while following the tragic Paris events on French TV), I encountered some playback issues (stuttering, repeated sounds, repeated frames), which turned out to be due to high CPU usage. svchost.exe showed a CPU load of some 50% - no surprise that there is not much capacity left for MePo.

My first thought was that this might for some obscure reason be due to Seb's testing version. So I installed the latest 1.13pre build over it, restarted and had no CPU trouble anymore. However, after standby/hibernate and resume the CPU load was again high, albeit lower than before - this time not because of svchost.exe but because of lsass.exe, which was using ~25% CPU. The phenomenon disappears after a fresh Windows start, which makes me suspect the automatic user logon process to be responsible.

Regarding the main issue of MePo not being functional after resume: Waking up the PC this morning resulted in the usual initial view of a smaller MePo homescreen on top of a larger desktop. Eventually this switched to the standard resolution, however, MePo was unreactive (i.e. "frozen"), but could be terminated from the taskbar.

I will reinstall Seb's test version to verify the resume behavior on my system, while hopefully being able to resolve the CPU load troubles.

    ...to be continued

    @Sebastiii ,

Quick question: I just reinstalled your modified 1.13pre and noticed that Shift-1 no longer displays the graphs and decoder details but insteads the TV Info OSD is popping up. Expected or unwanted behavior?

LOL :) I didn't use shift+1 on french keyboard :p (i use a key next to right shift lol)
Joking apart, i didn't notice it but i rarely use that key on TV but most of the time in videoplayer, in 1.13 there is new addon made on that graph page, i didn't remember what exactly but @regeszter knows more :)
I will try to test on my side too.

A couple of key presses have changfed, e.g. 0 (zero) is no longer switchinG between current and previous channel.

Again, no problem for testing. But this is a productive system and wife complains about changes...

Maybe it's related to HID vs MCE change ?

Hhm, settings are what they are on my system. The only change is replacement of your version by the latest 1.13pre build and back to your build.

As I said above: the purpose of this thread is to test the resume issues. I now have your 1.13pre build installed and we will see how my hardcore patient is behaving.[DOUBLEPOST=1447702922][/DOUBLEPOST]

Not on my keyboard - wireless with a USB receiver. '0' brings up the volume bar in the upper part of the screen.
