Media Portal Mascot (2 Viewers)

Right. I think tomtom made a good suggestion when he said he felt media Portal needed a mascot like Firefox or Linux.

I think it should be fun but not juvinile. it should alos not be a TV or the like as MP is such a collection of different medias.

I would suggest something a little funky like..

I like the idea very much. And a professional product like MP deserves a professional, mature mascot, which I think neither of the two mentioned above are (sorry guys, no offense). Now having said that, I am not a creative guy to propose my own design so I hope we can find a great artist for this.

How about an octopussy? The arms would represent the different media types ... just a quick draw.

An octopus may be too complicated to represent in small versions, etc.

Just something to think about.

Something visually simple would probably be best so it can be scaled easily when using it in different contexts.

The octopus reminds me of the chumby UI, now that I think about it.
