Media portal minimizes itself to taskbar when playing video (1 Viewer)

This has occurred since I have updated to the new media portal 1.0. It has happened on all release candidates. This happens at random, when I select a video from my videos or My TV Series, media portal minimizes itself to the task bar. It is still open and the video is not playing (it just stays at the previous screen prior to opening the video).

I am currently running Windows XP Professional
Pentium 4 2.4
2gb ram
Nvidia 7600 GS

It happens with all codecs (264, dvix, etc.) and with different skins. I haven't tested it with music or any other media since it is solely used for video/dvd playback.

Has anyone else experienced this or knows what may be causing this? I haven't had the same problem on my other system.

0001543: MediaPortal gets minimized to tray by pop up windows of external applications - MediaPortal Bugtracker -- should be fixed in SVN version 20674.

Try to set MP to "Keep MediaPortal Always on Top". This option is in the General section of the MP configuration. This worked for me.
