but i REALLY need to know if MP supports AVI's and such for transitions...

Not yet she doesn't but work is underway to add some pretty neat support for transitions and animations in general - no ETA on these features yet.

what a pity... ah well... i'll still be on the lookout for it then ^_^

You can use animated gif for animations, Harley uses it in ProjectX. So as long as the number of colors is limited you can use that.

Looks really cool, what type of transitions are you looking to do, avi's if theres a lot of them seem like there going to make the skin quite large, what type of transitions are you looking to do, I might be able to make a wrapper for premier plugins to use the transitions as animations, Ive made a wrapper for Photoshop plugins that went into an nes emulator so im sure premier transition plugins cant be that much harder, we would have to find some freely distributable plugins though, not sure of how many of them or the quality of them are though, if this is type of transitions your looking for and can find some nice free plugins, let me know
